CCBF will host the annual "Breakthrough Ball" Benefit Gala

on Thursday evening, November 17, 2016 at The Plaza Hotel in New York City.

CCBF 2016 Honoree Craig Sager with Reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry

Entertainment for the evening will include a live band, exquisite dining, as well as live and silent auctions that will keep you on the edge of your seat!

For the first time in the history of the Ball, we will be honoring one of our patients, a 10 year old boy named Walker Lipton, who recently overcame a brain tumor at our clinic. We will also be honoring the doctor who treated Walker, Dr. Mark M. Souweidane, as well as NBA sideline reporter and cancer patient, Craig Sager.

President of CNN, Jeff Zucker, will be our emcee, and the event will feature a performance by Fitz and the Tantrums.

The Breakthrough Ball brings together distinguished philanthropic leaders to join forces with CCBF to understand, treat, and eradicate childhood cancers and blood disorders. Proceeds sustain our clinical and research programs throughout the year, as well as enable us to continue providing life-saving treatments and holistic therapy to children suffering from cancer and blood disorders treated at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine. Our doctors' research has set the foundation for our understanding of how cancer metastasizes throughout the body and severely undercut the fatality rate for several pediatric and neonatal blood disorders.

The success of the Gala would not be possible without the generous contributions of our Breakthrough Ball sponsors. You can support this event by becoming a sponsor, purchasing tickets to the event, or making a donation.
